Someone suggested that I list the countries and territories I've visited. I wasn’t quite sure how to define a country or a territory, so I turned to the website of an organization called the Travelers’ Century Club (TCC), whose members are, “world travelers who have visited 100 or more of the world's countries and territories.” Click here to visit the TCC website. TCC explained that, “some are not actually countries in their own right, they have been included because they are removed from the parent country, either geographically, politically or ethnologically.” (Yes, I'm aware that Hawaii and Puerto Rico are part of the U.S. I used the TCC definition). They also offered guidance as to what constituted a “visit”. So, while I won’t be eligible for TCC membership just yet, I’m working on it. Here’s the current list in no particular order.
